I am excited to finally be able show the illustrations I produced for Crabtree and Evelyn, to be used to make up this brightly coloured Toile De Jouy design which is being used across packaging and products as part of their Spring gifting range. The designs are available instore and online now - you can also watch a film showing the inspiration and process behind the project HERE.
I realised I was going to post about this print straight after the opening of my show and never got round to it!
I produced an exclusive print for Mascalls Gallery, in conjunction with my ABC exhibition, looking at the Hop Picking tradition associated with the Kent countryside. London East Enders used to come down in the summers to pick hops to make money to take back home with them. This print is a celebration of that history and was a way of linking my base in East London to the more rural Paddock Wood in Kent where the gallery is based.
It is a limited edition of 30, £120, 5 colour screen print. Print size is 76 x 49.5cm and is currently available exclusively from Mascalls Gallery.
Just a reminder that my exhibition an A-Z of animals at Mascalls Gallery in Kent opens tomorrow! The PV is 2-4 tomorrow afternoon so do pop in if you are in the area for a glass of wine and a look around. All info should be above but you can also check the gallery website HERE for more info and other days to visit.
Just noticed my illustration for The Village Voice's 2016 Choice eats annual tasting event has gone live - a lovely project to celebrate the culinary landscape of NY through the foods that are made and eaten in all of the NY boroughs. The original illustration is shown here, along with a a few crop details.
I am an illustrator and printmaker based in East London. Research is at the heart of my practice and my work frequently explores themes of British folk lore, tradition and superstition.
