Paintings on old book covers/ found materials for a project to do with moving out of your parents home. Made considering both perspectives, and from asking people about their personal experiences of packing up their things when leaving home. Sorry the photos arent too clear!
I went to see an amazing film at the Walker the other day, all about beautiful wood type, and it made me want to do more letterpress!You can see about the film here. Definately try and watch it. Save woodtype! It also reminded me of this magazine I bought in the library booksale- nice.
Obamanation. Fantastic. Truly amazing to be in the midst of it all- I feel so privileged to have witnessed Obama become the next President whilst in America. I tried desperately to absorb my surroundings and the beaming faces around me- definitely a moment that will never leave me!WELL DONE OBAMA!
Ive been trying to recreate screenprint digitally to see whether i'll survive in the future- quite pleased with the results...just a little experiment.
I graduated in 2010 with a First Class degree in Illustration from Brighton University.
