I will be including a few prints, both framed and unframed at the Fry Art Gallery annual sale, in Saffron Walden this year. It opens a month today and will be open both Saturday 10th November, and Sunday 11th November. Unfortunately I am going to be out of the country but I am sure it will provide some great Christmas presents for loved ones (or yourself!).
The gallery is managed entirely by volunteers and has no regular external funding, so the sales from the show will provide funds to keep the gallery open. I also just spotted on the website HERE that if you access and purchase from Amazon through the link on the Fry Art Gallery website , they will get a donation of 5% of any of the purchase you make - which is a brilliant incentive to justify buying some more books! The gallery has a sickeningly wonderful collection of works by artists such as Edward Bawden, Eric Ravillious, Kenneth Rowntree, and Bernard Cheese to name but a few - and if you visit before the end of the month you will be able to see the Fry Menagerie, co-curated by Mark Hearld, featuring a selection of animal works drawn from the permanent collection.
