While I was away I saw some great quilt exhibitions including 'Quilt and Color' at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, and an even better one (but unfortunately photography wasn't permitted!); 'Homefront and Battlefield: Quilts & Context in the Civil War' at the New York Historical Society which had some stunningly rendered illustrative quilts depicting the passing of civil rights and also women's rights. I would reccommend both to anyone in either area!

No, I'm not in the area but would love to visit both exhibitions - love antique traditional quilts as much as modern textiles :)
I'm commenting here just to say how much I like YOUR works - super!
