The Big Draw

I will be running a drop in workshop at Ditchling Museum of Art and Craft on Saturday 10th October, 11-5 as part of this year's Big Draw. The theme for 2015 is 'every drawing tells a story' so come along to make a concertina book to fill up with drawings of your favourite things that tell the 'story of you' that you can fold up and take home with you. All ages are welcome! You might decide to draw your favourite things in the museum collection, your top 5 foods, the tattoos on your back or even the things you would save from a fire - all these drawings will tell a story about you! More information about the event HERE - put it in your diary!

The store has commissioned several illustrators to produce screen prints including Maggie Li, Katie Scott and Sam Brewster. All are printed expertly by All Cats Are Grey.

My print 'A Voyage Of Discovery' is inspired by Charles Dawin's interest in botany and the HMS Beagle voyage to the Galapagos Islands and beyond. Alf has written a great little synopsis covering the young Darwin's travels on the Eastern Biological website, where the print can be purchased HERE. The screen print is 4 colour, 500 x 700mm, edition of 50 and only £85 each.
