I recently created this master head for the Bettys and Taylors of Harrogate internal newsletter; 'The Rascal'.Obviously I cannot show you inside the newspaper but I have (quite badly!) cropped a few of the spot illustrations I did for various columns inside.

I am pleased to finally reveal my card range I designed for Roger La Borde. I worked on these in the middle of last year so it feel likes they have been under wraps for some time - it's good to see them out now! This shows the wraparound here. They are embossed and printed onto luxury uncoated board - I haven't got my physical copies yet but will update this with photos as soon as I do!
Stockists - if you are interested in purchasing some for your shop I would recommend emailing Roger La Borde to request a catalogue which you can order from. (They have just joined forces with Sanderson producing a great range too) Alternatively the order codes are GC 1621, GC 1623, GC 1622, and GC 1624 respectively. General public - keep a look out in all good card shops!

I have a nice feature over on Rock Paper Ink blog today as part of their 'Friday Feast' column. Following on from last years Creative Chain feature on Felt and Wire, organiser Emily Potts has been asking featured artists on the chain to share a little bit more of their work and practice. An interesting insight into interesting peoples lives! I have just enjoyed reading about Sophia Martinek's working process here. Thanks Emily!

I will have some work in the Brighton University 'Then, now, after...' show which will provide a survey of recent work from graduates & staff at the University of Brighton; opening this Friday (P.V between 5.30 - 8.30). As written by the organisers: 'not only will the show include an eclectic range of illustrators traversing a variety of disciplines but also some all time greats such as the prestigious Quentin Blake & George Hardie." Sounds pretty good to me!
As Valentines is only a month away today I thought I would bring your attention to some of my more romantic prints! 'True Love' is £42 an edition of 50 and is a 4 colour screenprint onto 30 x 30cm cartridge. 'See a pin' is £36 an edition of 25 and is a 3 colour screenprint onto 25 x 25cm cartridge. Email me at: email@example.com if you are interested in purchasing one. The illustrations were inspired by old sailor's hand made pin cushions which were made as love tokens. Incidentally if you are in the North East you should book on to my mother's course to make your own stitched heart! She has made some great examples to inspire you...
